- What articles do you accept for consideration?We accept research papers on AI/ML, including review articles. For more information about the accepted article types and materials Please read Clause 4.3 of the Submission Guidelines
- What is the deadline for submission?You can submit your article for the Collection until 31 August 2023 inclusive
- Where can I find article formatting examples?For guidance, please refer to the style guide in TeX format and the article template here
- Where will the articles be published?The articles will be published in a special issue of Doklady Mathematics, a science journal of the Russian Academy of Sciences, intended to support research in data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning and promote the exchange of expertise and experience among young researchers. The journal is included in the K1 category of publications submitted for an academic degree according to the Higher Attestation Commission guidelines, and is indexed in RSCI, Scopus, and Web of Science citation databases
- Can I submit a paper written by multiple authors?Yes, a paper can be submitted by one author, with the consent of all the other co-authors. For expanded information see Clause 3.3 of the Submission Guidelines
- When and how will the papers be selected?All articles will undergo an editorial evaluation and a double-blind peer review. A commission then makes the final decision to publish an article in the Collection and selects the best article. The commission includes representatives of the Organizer and the Partner. Experts in the relevant fields may be engaged, if necessary
- Timeline:
- 31 August 2023 - deadline for article submission;
- 30 September 2023 - end of preliminary selection;
- 31 October 2023 - creating a final list of articles for the Collection and notifying the Participants;
- 30 November 2023 - determining and notifying the Winner;
- 31 December 2023 - deadline for publishing the Collection with the selected articles
- What is the prize for the winning article?The Winner will receive a cash prize of RUB 1,000,000 (One million rubles) (amount after taxes according to Russian tax laws). If the winning paper has multiple authors, the cash prize will be divided among all the authors based on their agreement
- Is there an age limit for participating in the call for papers?No, only original unpublished articles are accepted for submission
- Are there any age restrictions for participation in the open selection?Yes, only people aged 18 or older are allowed to participate. For detailed participation requirements refer to the Submission Guidelines
- Can I participate in the call for papers if I work at Sber?Yes, Sber employees can participate, but they will not be able to receive a cash prize
- Do I need to translate my article to have it published in English?No, the translation into English will be done by the Organizer's Partner. That said, authors can enclose their own English translations or submit recommendations/comments for the translator
- Can I use (cite or refer to) my own previous papers published on the same topic?Self-citation (i.e., references to other papers of the manuscript authors) is allowed, but it must not exceed 30% of all references to other sources.
